Mission Statement

Tigercamp is fun, interactive, and designed to empower the mind, body, and soul. We are committed to providing a creative, supportive, safe, and lively learning environment. Each student will be inspired to learn, explore, create, and set goals that will make a difference in their academic, social, and future lives.

TigerCamp

Tiger Camp proudly introduces a Tiger Woods Foundation program called, Start Something® Program. www.tigerwoodsfoundation.org/startsomething

Start Something® is a character education curriculum helping youth build core values and inspire positive leadership. The program has a strong focus on goal setting, role modeling, career exploration and service learning. This curriculum is implemented with specific activities that are created and executed using drama, music, dance, writing, communication, science, and art. In addition to realizing their potential and talent, students learn skills in self-exploration, self-expression, and creative thinking.

TigerCamp implements 5 Keys to success that teach each student how to Think Outside The Circle. We believe that every student holds his or her own unique key that unlocks creativity and personal success. When your mind is open, the world can be looked at differently, and that creativity can be used at school, home, work and life.

TigerCamp – Uncaging Creativity winter session will be held at the Sacramento Zoo on March 17, 18, 19, 2008. The daily sessions will run from 8am to 5pm. This three day program is currently available to 12-15 year old youths.
